About me
My name is Leonardo and I am a PhD candidate studying Condensed Matter Theory at Scuola Normale Superiore. I sometimes get the urge to organise notes on things I am studying: if I am able to dumb them down enough for myself, others may find what I write good enough for an introduction to these topics. I also write very questionable code, fixate on LateX and Typst templates, or create other random things.
Given all of the above, why not share this stuff here, for all to see? And while I’m sharing, why not share how my journey in the world of research is going?
News and updates
- [1 november 2026] Starting my PhD in Quantum Technology and Nanoscience at Scuola Normale Superiore!
- [22 july 2026] Master of Science in Physics! Many thanks to Prof. Marco Polini and Dr. Lorenzo Cavicchi!
My research, briefly
My research interests lie in the study of highly correlated, anyonic and topological phases of matter through theoretical (and numerical) approaches.
Selected Publications
- Nothing yet, I’m afraid. It shouldn’t take long, though.
See the full publication list on the Research page, my Google Scholar profile or my ORCID profile.
